CAMPAIGN
001: STEEL
Coming up in the film industry as a Grip/Electric, I've always embraced the juxtaposition of hyper-femininity within a rugged "manly" trade. There is something beautiful in tools & industrial materials (steel, aluminum) which inspired the design and campaign for Jolana's "Steel" baguette, a reflection of a woman and all her dualities.

CAMPAIGN
002: THE STUDIO
No crazy story here. Just making product look sexy.
CAMPAIGN
003: MUSING
I've always loved female leads of 1960's films: Like Anna Karina in Pierrot le Fou; or any of Fellini's "manic" actresses. They're usually portrayed through the male gaze as these emotionally unstable, ethereal, even childlike muses; we wanted to capture this sort of girl but as independent, separate from a relation to male protagonists. Our model had this retro look which Photographer, Chris Armonious and I leaned into.
A surreal girl enjoying her solitude completely lost in daydreams.
CAMPAIGN
003: IN MY ROOM
The sanctuary of a bedroom, a place where creative ideas are born. Discovering music, journaling, dancing in solitude. This has always been a key point of inspiration for me and I wanted to show that through our first campaign. A girl reads Baudrillard, does Tarot, smells flowers, lounges...etc.
CAMPAIGN
004: DIVE BAR DAYDREAM
I just love that downtown LES girl who you'll find at a random dive bar playing pool with some 60 year old man.
She's fiercely independent, secretly a genius, smokes Camel Crushes, and is hot in her messiness.
CAMPAIGN
005: TEXAS ..PARIS ..NEW YORK?
A story as old as time: Texas girl arrives in NYC.
Except shot like a silent film on 16mm
